Four girls’ golf teammates competed in the first round of CIF Individual Regionals on Wednesday, Oct. 30 at the Los Robles Golf Course. Senior captain Lana Yamagata and sophomore Ashley Wen advanced to round two.
Participants were able to advance by placing within the top 36 players and scoring within 75 strokes. Yamagata placed 24th with a score of 74 strokes, and Wen placed 19th with a score of 73 strokes. Freshman Sophia Gwin and sophomore Gaby Ho scored 80 strokes and 94 strokes, placing 58th and 97th, respectively.
The Tigers will have another chance to shine in the first round of CIF Team Regionals on Monday, Nov. 4.
