All five winter sports, led by senior captains, qualified for CIF Southern Section playoffs. Girls’ basketball, boys’ basketball, and boys’ soccer placed first in the Rio Hondo League, and girls’ soccer and girls’ water polo placed third.
Tiger explored the inflatable exhibits and imaginative art pieces of the Los Angeles Balloon Museum. The experience lasts until March 16 and is one of four locations displaying artists’ abstract takes on society.

SPHS Jewish Mitzvah Club and catering company Sweet 16 and Savory hosted a dinner fundraiser for the Pasadena Jewish Temple, which burned in the Eaton fire.

Mark Keppel eliminated basketball from the playoffs last season. This year, instead of a rematch, South Pasadena was knocked out of the playoffs by Mark Keppel for the second consecutive year. Keppel went on to win the playoffs.
The Tigers’ offense and sharp passing secured a dominant 77-48 win over Moorpark.
