The second day of Rio Hondo League girls tennis competition was postponed due to unsuitable air quality from the recent Getty fire on Thursday, Oct. 31.
Junior captain Carissa Park was the sole Tiger scheduled to compete on Thursday, after the moving on from first day of RHL prelims.
“I was ready for this match, but this postponement has given me the opportunity to recollect and prepare myself even more. Hopefully, I come out of the tournament successful, with [my] team proud,” Park said.
The tournament will be rescheduled to Monday, Nov. 4, at Temple City High School.
