The girls golf team suffered its first loss on Tuesday, Sep. 10 against Burbank with a score of 215-241. The Tigers fall to 4-1 in the preseason.
Sophomore Lauren Calderon had a stroke count of 40. Close behind, senior Victoria Tskvitichvili tallied 43 strokes. The rest of the sophomore class, Maya Turan, Cassy Huang, and Audrey Biggar ended with respective scores of 50, 53, and 55. Junior Katherine Anthony finished the match with 55 strokes as well.
The Tigers will play against Walnut on Thursday, Sep. 12 for their last preseason match before the Rio Hondo League next week.
