The boys’ tennis team experienced mixed results this week, dropping a tough match against Temple City on Wednesday and then stomping the Monrovia Wildcats on Friday, Apr. 12. The Tigers now sit at 2-5 in league competitions.
Against the Rams, South Pas struggled immensely, losing 16-2. Only juniors Desmond Chan and Ben Pestana, singles one and two, respectively, were able to squeeze out victories.
South Pas turned it around against Monrovia, whose 0-6 record is the league’s worst. The Tigers decimated the Wildcats 17-1.
The team will finish the league season at home, looking to steal a game against La Cañada on Tuesday, Apr. 16
