Senior Esteban Suarez participated in the CIF Masters meet for pole vault on Friday, May 27 at Cerritos College. Suarez is the only South Pas athlete to have made it this far.
CIF Masters is unique to the CIF Southern Section as it is essentially a qualifier for State Finals, because the Southern Section is so large. The top six move on in each event, unless a qualifying mark is met.
At Masters, Suarez made himself eligible for State by clearing 15 feet. CIF State Finals are on Saturday, June 4 at Buchanan High School.
