Photo Gallery: The 2025 Rose Parade

Zoe Chen | Ohio State University's marching band marched in the parade before the school's football team versed the University of Oregon later that afternoon at the Rose Bowl Stadium. Ohio State, initially ranked 6, knocked out the then-undefeated Oregon 41-21 to advance to the College Football Playoff Quarterfinal.

Zoe Chen | The United States Marine Corps West Coast Composite Band was the first of 24 bands featured in the parade, and one of few non-student bands.

Zoe Chen | The Fresno State Bulldog Marching Band has over 250 members. It has been recognized by the College Band Directors National Association as one of the nation's top eight college marching bands. 2025 was the band's second Rose Parade appearance.

Zoe Chen | Banda de Música Herberto López Colegio José Daniel Crespo is Panama's largest school band. Nearly all of its members were visiting the United States for the first time for the parade.

Zoe Chen | Select members of the Valley Hunt Club, a private country club for Pasadena elite, rode in a horse-drawn carriage adorned with flowers. Leaders of the club started the first Rose Parade in 1890 due to Pasadena's abundance of flowers in the midst of winter.

Zoe Chen | The United States Marine Corps Mounted Color Guard was second on the parade lineup, coming after the American Honda float and B-2 Spirit flyover.

Zoe Chen | LAUSD All-District Honor Marching Band

Zoe Chen | The Trader Joe's three-piece, 85-foot float won "most outstanding display of showmanship and entertainment." The float's decoration included goods sold on the store's shelves, such as blueberries, split peas, and parsley.

Zoe Chen | The Kyoto Tachibana High School Green Band is one of Japan's oldest female marching bands.

Zoe Chen | The UPS Store Inc. won the Judges Award for "most outstanding float design and dramatic impact." Volcanoes on the float spewed steam for all 5.5 miles of the parade route.

Zoe Chen | Visit Mississippi's float emphasized the state as the birthplace of American music. 2025 is the first year that Visit Mississippi, the state's official destination marketing organization, participated in the Rose Parade.

Zoe Chen | La Canada Flintridge's float won the award of "Most Outstanding Use of Imagination, Innovation and Technology."

Zoe Chen | The San Diego Zoo's float won the Sweepstakes "Most Beautiful Entry" Trophy for the second consecutive year. Twenty-three other floats received various other awards.

Zoe Chen | The Rose Bowl Hall of Fame was established in 1989 to honor college football legends who have played at the Rose Bowl Stadium. The class of 2024 included USC's Reggie Bush, Michigan State's Mark Dantonio, and Oregon's LaMichael James.

Zoe Chen | LAUSD All-District Honor Marching Band

Zoe Chen | High school students who attend any Los Angeles Unified School District school are eligible to audition into the All-District Honor Marching Band. The band forms annually for the sole purpose of marching in the Tournament of Roses Parade.
