Neighborhood favorite Twohey’s to move into South Pasadena

The iconic Twohey’s restaurant will be moving to South Pasadena from its current Alhambra location this spring. After 75 years, the diner-style favorite will be closing its doors and taking over 424 Fair Oaks Avenue, the former home of  Carmine’s. Its Alhambra location will remain open until the move is complete in Spring of 2018.

The restaurant was unable to agree upon a new lease with its landlords, according to the Twoheys Director of Operations Tom Anderson.

Customers have expressed support and loyalty for the eatery during the move and fully intend to enjoy the new location.

Jim Christos, one of Twohey’s owners, describes his anticipation for the move.

“Though it is bittersweet, we are excited for this new chapter and to continue the Twohey’s Restaurant legacy in South Pasadena”
