A white man in his 40s has been confirmed dead after breaking into his estranged girlfriend’s house on Five Oaks Drive and attempting to kill her just before 10 a.m. on Saturday, Nov. 28. The girlfriend’s mother and sister subsequently killed the attacker in self-defense.
The attacker reportedly threw a rock slab against a stained glass window to break inside his girlfriend’s home. He choked and punched the woman until she called for help and her mother and sister entered the room. The mother and sister beat the attacker with a golf club and knife in self-defense before police arrived at the scene and the attacker was pronounced dead on-site. The victim is currently being treated in a hospital.
The SPPD is set to release the attacker’s name tomorrow.
