The girls varsity volleyball team won a non-conference match against Whittier Christian High School on Friday, Oct. 18. The Tigers swept the Heralds in three sets, 25-17, 25-15, and 25-21.
South Pas finished the year with a fantastic 30-6 record and earned the Rio Hondo League title with a 10-0 league season.
“This season had been so great and I have had such an amazing time with my teammates,” sophomore Alyssa Sokolow said. “I feel so much closer to everyone on the team and I couldn’t have asked for a better season.”
The Tigers will begin their CIF run Thursday, Oct. 24, when they host Torrance in the first round of the Southern Section Division IV playoffs.
