Girls golf defeats Alhambra

The girls golf team defeated Alhambra with a score of 202-338 on Thursday, Oct. 10. With only two league matches left, the Tigers hold a 5-3 record.

Leading the charge, senior Victoria Tskvitichvili and sophomore Lauren Calderon boasted respective scores of 36 and 37. Junior Katherine Anthony and sophomores Maya Turn and Cassy Huang all shot for 43 strokes. Sophomore Audrey Biggar rounded out the lineup earning a score of 47. 

“Our team is making huge improvements, and I’m excited for our upcoming games.” Turun said. “My teammates are definitely capable enough to pull their weight in CIF.”

The Tigers will play their second to last match in the Rio Hondo League on Tuesday, Oct. 15 against San Marino.
