Girls’ Golf suffered a loss to the Orion Academy at Brookside with a score of 218–190 after nine holes on Tuesday, Sept. 8. However, the Tigers’ performance has improved a lot.

Sophomores Bella Vanichsombat and Delaney Wong overall had a better performance than last year and the Tigers’ previous game. Vanichsombat shot 40, and Wong shot 42.

“I definitely did not do my best yesterday, but I was really proud of myself for minimizing my mistakes and still getting a solid-ish score,” Vanichsombat said.

While the loss was hard, the Tigers recuperated for the Rio Pacific’s first all league match. The match was at home at Alhambra Golf Course against La Cañada, San Marino, Temple City, and Arcadia on Thursday, Sept. 10.
