The varsity football team took part in a non-conference scrimmage at Lancaster High School on Friday, August 28.

The Tigers and Eagles took the field in a special scenario where the offense was  positioned at the 50 yard line. Each team ran its respective plays to see how it would fair against the other, with the Tigers finishing the day 28-0.

Although the game did not count on either team’s record, the match-up was still a great exchange between schools to see where both sides needed improvements to prepare for the upcoming regular season.
South Pasadena’s first game will be held at Santa Clarita Christian High School on September 5 with the Tigers’ league opener at home expected to be against school rival La Canada on Friday, October 9, the date of Color Day.
