Boys’ tennis dropped it’s second league match to San Marino, 14-4, on Friday, Mar. 15. South Pas’ league record now stands at 0-2 and 3-4 overall.
Singles one, star junior Desmond Chan, easily defeated all three of his Titan opponents; he won each set 6-0. Junior Ben Pestana, singles two, was the only other Tiger to muster a victory, prevailing in his last set, 6-2.
“There’s nothing much to say to be honest,” Chan said. “We just need to practice more and work harder.”
South Pas will face off against the Monrovia Wildcats on Tuesday, Mar. 19. The Tigers will enter the match as heavy favorites, defeating the Wildcats 18-0 and 17-1 last season.
