After advancing from Rio Hondo League Prelims on Tuesday, Apr. 30, senior Josh Ramos and freshman Ark Chang competed in League Finals on Wednesday, May 1.
Ramos secured second place against the strongest golfers in Rio Hondo to advance towards CIF Sectionals with a strong score of 74 at finals and 68 at prelims, while Chang was eliminated despite a strong effort that yielded 88 strokes at finals and 76 at prelims.
CIF Sectionals will take place on Monday, May 6 at the River Ridge Golf Course in Oxnard.
