The varsity boys’ golf team suffered its fourth loss in league against the La Cañanda Spartans by a score of 240-199 at the Almansor Golf Course on Tuesday, April 12. The squad is yet to win a single league game, maintaining an overall record of 1-7 and league record of 0-4.
Junior team captain Andrew Son led the team in terms of scoring with a 46 stroke. Junior Matthew Wright and freshman Daniel Sim both finished the course with a total score of 47. Junior Elliot Lee and sophomore Brandon Zhu added scores of 49 and 51, respectively. Freshman Guliano Fusco wrapped up the scores with a stroke of 60.
South Pas takes on Monrovia High School on Thursday, April 14 at the Almansor Golf Course, hopefully the team can come up victorious and win its first league game of the season.
