Girls’ swim took on the Arcadia Apaches on Tuesday, March 24, stealing the victory by 26 points with a final score 175–149.

The 200 medley relay teams B and C finished second and third respectively, with team B just one second behind Arcadia and team C a full 14 seconds ahead of fourth place. However, the Tigers crept up in the second timed finals, as team D stole first place at 1:52 with team E followed closely in third at 2:05.

The Tigers dominated in the 200 freestyle, with sophomore Karissa Oniciuc in first followed by sophomore Nayeli Bordwell in second and sophomore Kayla Ho in fourth. Meanwhile, junior Chloe Kim stood as the standout performance in her own race, taking second place. Kim was the only Tiger to place in her competitive heat’s top three.

Following suit, the Tigers had a similar performance in the 100 individual medley, as freshman Emi Yumori, sophomore Isabella Fletcher, and sophomore Clara Dubord took second, third and fourth respectively. Senior Maria Zhu followed up with a time of 2:17 and took first place in her heat’s 200 individual medley.

The Tigers wrapped up the meet with the 400 freestyle relay and did not disappoint. Team A came in first at 4:34, almost 20 seconds ahead of Arcadia’s A team. The Tigers’ teams B and C came in fourth and fifth respectively to finish the race. The second race ended similarly, with team D finishing first at a staggering 3:46 time, while the E and F teams came in third and fifth yet again.

The Tigers’ tireless execution during their races made for a riveting experience and a well-deserved victory as the team now prepares for the Mt. SAC Spring Meet of Champions from April 10–11.
