Boys water polo decimated La Cañada on the road, 20-2, Thursday, Oct. 3. After two blowout victories to begin the regular season, South Pas is sitting comfortably at the top of the Rio Hondo League standings.
The Tigers looked unstoppable, as junior keeper Liam Markus’ tireless saves and the team’s quick counterattacks led them to victory.
“We love La Cañada, but we showed them little mercy,” sophomore Egan Hadsell-Florin said. “We have worked hard and hope to go all the way in representing South Pasadena in CIF.”
South Pas will host rival San Marino and look to stretch its winning streak to three games on Thursday, Oct 10.
