Boys varsity soccer competed in the San Gabriel Valley Cup on Friday and Saturday, Dec. 6 and 7. The team grabbed a victory on each day, but suffered a blowout loss on Saturday.

On Friday, the Tigers crushed Rancho Christian, 8-0. The next day, they fell short to Palmdale Aerospace Academy, 3-0, and trounced Maranatha in a 5-3 win.

“After finishing the group stages of our first tournament this year, we scored 13 goals in three games. We are very optimistic for the rest of the season, and can’t wait for league to start,” junior Oliver Lee said.

The Tigers hope to triumph against Flintridge Prep in the next league game on Tuesday, Dec. 10 at home.
