Boys’ golf secures first league win

Boys’ golf took home its first league victory against the Monrovia Wildcats on Tuesday, March 19. The Tigers’ 188-226 win propels their league record to 1-0 and boosts their overall record to 7-0.

Seniors Josh Ramos and Jason Gomez headed the team, each clinching a score of 36 for the Tigers. Freshman Andrew Kowal was not far behind and finished the course with just 38 strokes. Senior Daniel Sim and freshman Ark Chang shot for 39 apiece, and sophomore Justin Toshima brought in the win with 41 strokes.

The Tigers’ second league game will against Temple City on Tuesday, March 26th.
