Badminton competed in the CIF Division I Quarter Final on Monday, May 12. South Pasadena lost 11-10. 

In Mixed Doubles, seniors Anson Fong and Kiana Lee won one match by close margins, including a 22-20 deuce. Meanwhile, Boys Singles swept all four of their matches. Junior Kyle Zhan won his first match in three sets and his second in two. Freshman Harry Ao won both of his matches in two sets. Notably, Ao won both sets of his first matchup by 15-point margins, 21-6. 

In Girls Doubles, junior Wings Zhang and freshman Jasmine Fu won both of their matches. In Boys Doubles, Fong and senior Joel Kim won both of their matches in two sets, including one 21-5 set point. Junior Toby Gu and senior Jake Wong won one match in two sets.
