This year’s “Into the Abyss” themed Grad Night for the senior class of 2016 will be held at Castle Park on June 8.

For the past five years, SPHS Grad Night has been held at the FantaSea Yacht Club and the Speedzone in Hacienda Heights.

There were complaints that half [of Speedzone] was closed and many of the rides were shut down,” Grad Night Coordinator Michelle Round said. “This was part of the reason why we were looking to spice things up this year, to get more interest and hopefully a higher turnout.”

ASB chose the Riverside amusement park, Castle Park, as the new destination. Seniors will have access to unlimited rides, arcade games, mini golfing, and photo booths. Additional entertainment will include a scavenger hunt and DJed dance.
Tickets will be $125, but will increase in price after March 1. Payment will cover food, transportation, and all park attractions and activities. In order to participate, students must also turn in a waiver to the office before June 1. The tickets and waivers are now available and can be found on SPHS Parent-Teacher-Student Association website.
