Girls’ Golf won over La Salle at Eaton Canyon with a final score of 219 – 245 on Tuesday, Sept. 29.
The highest Tiger scores were from sophomores Bella Vanichsombat and Delaney Wong with scores of 36 and 40 strokes respectively. Senior Gaby Ho and sophomore Khloe Yuen also made notable a improvements with 37 and 43 strokes respectively, both having their lowest rounds of the season.
“I think our team could work on maintaining a calm and positive mentality,” Ho said. “I believe golf is a very mental game; replaying one bad shot or hole in your head can negatively affect how you approach the next one.”
The Tigers next game was for the third Rio Pacific league tournament at the La Cañada Country Club on Thursday, Oct. 1.
