The boys and girls varsity wrestling teams competed at Mater Dei High School and San Fernando High School, respectively, on Saturday, Dec. 7, completing their second individual tournament of the preseason.
Tigers were able to send three of their athletes to the podium, with junior Devin Peries (160) placing second and senior Christopher Kim at third place in his 138 weight class. For the girls, junior Roxanne Lynch (131) was able to place fourth overall.
The next boys tournament is scheduled to take place on Friday and Saturday, Dec. 13-14, at Downey High School, while the girls will compete on Friday and Saturday, Dec. 20-21, at West Covina High School.
