A crossing guard at the intersection of Bank Street and Marengo Avenue was robbed by two suspects in a dark colored truck at approximately 11:35 a.m. on Monday, February 8. The crossing guard’s wallet and phone were both stolen. The district released a statement in an email and informed families that the victim “did not suffer extensive injury and is okay”. The email urges students to stay vigilant and be aware of their surroundings. No reports have been made regarding the search for the suspects. The South Pasadena Police could not release any additional information regarding the incident at this time.
