The girls’ golf team overcame last Thursday’s tough loss with a huge 217-294 win on the road against Webb high school on Tuesday, September 29.  The Tigers still have not lost an away matchup with an overall record of 5-1 and league record of 3-1.

Leading the squad, junior co-captain Caitlyn Yamashita shot a season high with a score of 34. Senior co-captain Christine Abbott finished right behind her with a score of 40. Sophomore Nicole Srisutham and junior Emily Swanson left the course with scores of 44 and 47, respectively. Junior Clara Wong capped off the scores with a 52.

“It was definitely nice to have a big win after last week’s tough loss. I think that every player has improved since the beginning of the season, and I can’t wait to see how we’ll fare in the rest of our matches.”

The Tiger’s next game match is at home against the Azusa Aztecs on Thursday, October 1.
