Badminton blown out by Arcadia

Badminton lost to the Arcadia Apaches for the second time this season in an overwhelming 19-2 defeat on Monday, Apr. 15. The Apaches are the team’s toughest opponents in the season, being formally trained and skilled in both agility and accuracy. Even so, the team saw this as another opportunity to improve and was challenged to bring out their best. With this loss, Tiger’s league record drops to 6-3.

The team’s two points were won by juniors Charles Liu and Emily Choi, in their mixed doubles game, and sophomore Jonathan Ng, in his boys singles match. Both games ended in an extremely close match, with the Tigers having only a few points higher than the Apaches.

The Tigers will play at home against San Gabriel on Wednesday, Apr. 17.
