The SPUSD Food & Nutrition Services (FNS) program will begin serving free breakfast and lunch for pick-up at 1327 Diamond Avenue to any child under the age of 18 beginning on Monday, Mar. 16. The program aims to help families and children in need during SPUSD’s extended spring break.
FNS will offer meals through both a walk-up and drive-through service, however social distancing measures — such as waiting at least 6 feet from the serving area — will be mandated. Elementary-age student will be served from 9:00 a.m to 10:00 a.m, while secondary or multi-school age students will be served from 10:00 a.m to 11:00 a.m.
All meals will be based on the number of children present. Menu options will be available on the FNS website one day prior to each week and on the first day of the week at the distribution area.
The meal program will operate daily beginning from Mar. 16 and will conclude on Mar. 27.
