Boys tennis narrowly beats Burroughs

The boys tennis team followed up on yesterday’s success, swiftly defeating the John Burroughs High School, 11-7, on Wednesday, Feb. 26. 

South Pas struggled against Burrough’s singles one, losing all three sets. However, they each turned their games around to earn five set victories. 

Junior Arthur Li subbed in for the final singles set and fell behind 4-0. However, he rattled off a 6-1 and emerged victorious, 7-5.

The doubles narrowly won their pool, 5-4. Senior Ayush Pareek and sophomore Leyton Ramos-Platt won two games, both by a narrow margin with scores of 7-5. 

The team homes to continue its success in an away game against Mountain View High School on Thursday, Feb. 27.
