The boys tennis team easily defeated Mountain View High School, 18-0 in a blowout game, Thursday, Feb. 27. This improves the Tigers’ preseason record to 3-1.
The entire singles team performed extremely well, winning every match. However, singles three, junior Daniel Kim led the way, winning all three sets 6-0.
Doubles one and three followed suit, also preventing the Mountain View Spartans from winning any games. Sophomores Nadeem Mallat and Leyton Ramos-Platt, doubles two, were able to maintain the perfect record. After finishing 7-6 against Mountain View’s doubles ones, they went to a tiebreaker and sealed their win 7-2.
The boys team looks to continue its winning streak in the next home game on Tuesday, Mar. 3, against Flintridge Prep.
