City Council unanimously selects Stephanie DeWolfe as city manager

The South Pasadena City Council selected Stephanie DeWolfe in a unanimous decision posted Thursday, September 14.

DeWolfe, working within city service for 30 years, has previously overseen planning and community affairs in Pasadena and West Hollywood.

“I am excited to be part of team South Pasadena,” DeWolfe said in a city press release. “I have always loved South Pasadena and I am looking forward to spending even more time in this wonderful community.”

She succeeds former manager Sergio Gonzalez following an extensive interview process for the position. DeWolfe is scheduled for official approval at the September 20th City Council meeting.

“I am very excited about hiring Ms. DeWolfe,” Mayor Michael A Cacciotti stated on behalf of the City Council, “She brings to our city the optimum combination of experience and leadership qualities. South Pasadena is very fortunate that she has agreed to serve our community.”
