Multiple SPHS sports games were cancelled Tuesday, Mar. 10, due to the recent rainfall. Baseball and softball were set to compete in their second Rio Hondo League game against Temple City, but both matches have been postponed for Monday, Mar. 16, at home. Boys golf’s preseason clash with Walnut was also scrapped and will not be rescheduled.

“We were all anticipating the rain and knew that there was a small chance of playing a game today, but we were ready and prepared for the game anyway,” junior Kate Buckley said. “As for our game on Monday, I think we will be just as much, if not more, prepared.”

Softball will take on Marshall in a home tournament game on Wednesday, Mar. 11. On Thursday, Mar. 12, boys golf will challenge Maranatha, while baseball faces off against the Monrovia Wildcats Friday, Mar. 13.
