Junior triple jumper Tianhao (TH) Wei earned a bronze finish at the CIF State Finals on Saturday, May 25. Wei achieved his personal record with a 48’0.25” triple jump, improving upon last year’s 47’06” feat.
“This was my roughest season yet, but I’m happy with how I dealt with it,” Wei said. “Ending the season with another PR feels good. The injury really helped me go back to focusing on fundamentals and pulling everything together.”
Having improved at the CIF State Finals each year, Wei will aim to finish his senior season with a gold medal next year.
