The girls’ volleyball team did not play at home on Thursday, October 15 due to a mix-up from Blair High School. The Vikings unknowingly pitted their varsity squad against the Tigers’ JV team. The JV team swept Blair’s varsity team in three sets, 25-9, 25-4 and 25-3. Rather than to play again and face another possible embarrassment, Blair decided to forfeit, granting the Tigers a free win. South Pas now stands at a firm records of 5-0 in league and 12-2 overall.

“It’s upsetting that we don’t get to play because we really could have used the practice,” junior Molly Feldmeth said. “Even though it’s disappointing, especially because a lot of fans came to watch, it’s good to take the win, and I’m sure we’ll bring a lot of intensity into the next game.”

The Tigers next face off against Temple City at home on Tuesday, October 20 where they hope to improve their record to 6-0 in league and 13-2 overall.
