SPACE (South Pasadena Arts Center) will host their Fall Celebration of the Arts themed “Neighborhood Night-on-the-Town” on Saturday, Oct. 19. The quarterly Arts Crawl, sponsored by the Chamber of Commerce, aims to showcase local artistic expression and talent through a diverse array of exhibitions, special events, and activities.

The Arts Crawl will offer multiple family friendly events, with Adobe Creative and Hotbox Vintage clothing offering a glitter tattoo artist, balloon twisting, and pumpkin decorating respectively. Other sites include coloring activities at Ellen’s Silkscreening and printmaking at Two Kids Coffee.

The South Pasadena Music Center will present a lineup of student bands from 4:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. near the South Pasadena Metro Station. Other destinations for performances include Jones Coffee for a string concert from the Pascale Music Institute, and Handle Gifts who will stage singer and songwriter Alicia Blue. “The Drive” band will also make an appearance at Griffins of Kinsale.

Artisan Alley will host booths selling unique and handmade jewelry, clothing, and art. The Sticky Rice, Austyn’s Burger and Dreamy Creations food trucks will offer food and desserts in this area.

Attendees looking for a sit down dining experience can dine in at the Munch Company from 5 to 8 p.m for tacos and candlelight karaoke.

Other activities include the free COMBCHELLA journaling workshop, a joint collaborative effort held by South Pasadena Public Library and LitFest Pasadena. The City Hall will also host several receptions from the Social and Public Art Resource Center (SPARC) Gallery.

The Fall Arts Crawl will run from 4 to 9 p.m. along Mission Street.
