Badminton stumbled against Arcadia on Wednesday, March 21, losing 19-2 to the undefeated Apaches. Arcadia has thoroughly dominated each team it has faced, having lost just nine games over eight matches this season. Thus, this match serves as valuable preparation for other tough opponents and simulates the intensity of CIF games.
Both victories occurred in the doubles matches; sophomores Jamilah Hah and Emily Choi earned a hard-fought win, and a forfeit accounted for the second triumph. Sophomore Charles Liu and freshman Jonathan Ng nearly grasped victory in singles, but both fell just short.
Badminton hopes to improve its 2-2 record at home versus San Gabriel on Friday, March 23.
